This eight-week program utilizes techniques developed by the American Lung association and is based on the underlying premise that smoking is a learned habit. It offers individuals a step-by-step plan for quitting smoking, covering topics such as: addiction, personal smoking habits, identifying triggers, coping with urges, nicotine reduction therapy, coping with stress, weight management and relapse prevention.
